42. LullabyThere are nights when I wonderhow you would feel in my armsand I drift into dreamsof the color of your eyesand soft sounds of your breathing. We would laugh togetherour barefeet dancingthrough green seas of grass, picking sun-kissed daisiesto weave into our hair. And everytime you cried,I would want to cry too--during the skinned knees, and the failed tests, and the heartbreaks.Instead of drying your tears, tonight I'm drying my ownletting them fall ontothe soft folds of my pillowand thinking about you.I murmur to myself, lettingthe notes of the lullabysmy mom used to singlinger as I wonderif you would have liked them too.
77. Passionpart i:dimmed lights and off-white sheets;the room fades as we are lostin a world that exists onlywhen we gaze into the other's eyes.two bodies entangled, but only one soul.fingertips dance across my skin, sweet kisses finding my lips.whispered words of loveexcite my pulse and caress my ears, lingering in the air like a sweet melody.part ii:the ink bleeds out of the pen, smearing bits of my soulupon the once blank page.the world will inspect these words i write, tearing with their claws ofharsh criticism and judgement.but they see only words on paper, black and white.but as i stare at my work of art,for one brief moment,i can truly see myself.

Does she not dance as though her body were naught but air? Her very smile seems contagious. Ah yes, you there! I see that you cannot help at smile at the girl before you. Now, watch closely, ladies and gentlemen, as her smile melts and becomes sorrow. Look on as her lithe frame becomes heavy, burdened by something that would seem to equal the weight of the world. Or at the very least, one of our own costumed elephants! Now that, I can assure you, is a weight no one would want to bear! But sadness certainly will not do for this performance! No, not at all! Those of you that know me should know that I HATE poetry (loathe completelyyy). Anyway. I was in a poetry sort of mood--oh god, look out, the apocalypse is starting. So here's my attempt at song-lyric-style-poetry...stuff. 2 verses, a bridge, and choruses are italicized. Err...yeah. Enjoy. Or just try not to tear your eyes out. ~*~Please dont blame me if I try to walk away,Too many times Ive lost these games they play. But theres just something about your smile,That makes this risk seem worth my while. For now, theres only one thing Ill say
My wounded hearts like glassBut Ill put it in your care.Theres only one thing I will ask,Just promise youll be there. The tears Ive cried flow like a rive
